Cafés In New York

Some of these cafes were recommended to me by David Peritz, a professor at Sarah Lawrence College. His recommendations have been spot on. As i'm living in New York again, i am now actively updating this map with new places that i discover. Since i like to read and write a lot — it's sort of necessity — my taste leans towards independent cafes with a homely atmosphere, good selection of drinks and pastries (preferably organic) and a staff that doesn't mind if i'm there for a few hours at a time.

If you have any additions feel free to put them here.

Cafe Fresh

It's nearby where i live, and they have good organic coffee and yummy vegan pastries. Unfortunately segregate the customers between those who buy a meal, and those who are there for only a drink. But if the cafe side is not crowded, it can be a nice place to study.

Map this on Platial
