What is progress? Progress is defined as “Movement from one member of a continuous series to the next.” (www.dictionary.com) We have chosen to take progression as our theme for our fourth Critical Massive. LARC, our new home, will bring the opportunity to start new traditions. A map is forthcoming. A guide to everything you always wanted to know about Critical Massive but were afraid to ask is available below.
Tags: camping, community, art, burning man, burningman, bm, regional

Map this on Platial

InterFuse 2006

InterFuse is a yearly, three day camping oriented event held in Missouri that upholds the ideals of the Burning Man Festival. It is a Midwest Regional Burn, similar to other Regional Burns held throughout the world every year. This year's InterFuse will be held May 5-7, 2006 at Camp Ozark Avalon - located in Boonville, Missouri, off I-70 between Kansas City and St. Louis.

The goal of InterFuse is to unite the scattered Burners and pre-Burners of the Midwest in the flames of this celebration of Art, Fire, and Life - further spreading the unique Burning Experience through the region.

Like at Burning Man, we will build a temporary city-community of tents, domes, light, dance, fire and music in the wilderness (in this case the forest, not the desert). We will celebrate our diversity continuously from Friday until Sunday morning. Then we will dismantle our city and Leave No Trace.
Tags: camping, community, art, burning man, burningman, bm, regional

Map this on Platial
Element 11 refers to the periodic number of sodium. Sodium is the chief element of NACl which is common table salt. We live in and love the land of salt.

Our event is held south of the Great Salt Lake, the largest inland salt lake west of the Mississippi, and the fourth largest terminal lake in the world. The lake is typically 3-5 times more salty than sea water.
Tags: camping, community, fire, burning man, burningman, bm, regional

Map this on Platial
