Elle utilise ici une grosse pelote blanche, fabriquée en paille de papier. Et cette pelote ferait comme un trou dans l’image, mais là, en 3D, elle est matière : entre la manipulation intimiste, sans effet, et la forme et la couleur incongrues, si tranchées sur fond de nature, elle vire à l’imaginaire. Le parcours n’a rien d’une improvisation ; en résonance avec le lieu, il décline un éventail d’actions revisitées, de pelote en pelote. Car cette masse fragile, vibrant d’évocations, transforme son voyage en métaphore de la pensée, tandis que l'artiste dans le rôle du guide propose d’autres points de vue, littéralement, à qui accepte d’en changer. Bleuniadur est un ballet de pays fondé en 1978 à Saint-Pol-de-Léon, capitale historique du pays du Léon. Cette région située au nord-ouest de la Bretagne fut peuplée par les Celtes arrivant de l'île de Bretagne du IVe au VIIe siècle. Attaché à ses racines, le Léon est un lieu de tradition, à l'identité culturelle forte, comme le montre la persistance plus tardive qu'ailleurs de la langue bretonne. Orienté d’abord sur le collectage de danses et d'airs à danser du Léon pour élaborer des spectacles à partir des éléments recueillis, l’Ensemble s’est progressivement doté de structures qui lui ont permis de fixer sa position de ballet de pays fédérant les communes du Haut-Léon.

The body (without the head) of our robot Alpha has 17 degrees of freedom (four in each leg, three in each arm, and three in the trunk). The joints of the robot are driven by Faulhaber DC-motors of different sizes. The robot's total height is about 155cm. The skeleton of the robot is constructed from carbon composite materials to achieve a low weight of about 30kg. Alpha's head consists of 16 degrees of freedom, which are driven by servo motors. We have 3 DOFs to move the eyes, 3 DOFs to move the neck, 4 DOFs to animate the eye browns and 6 DOFs to animate the mouth. Using speech recognition, speech synthesis, face localization, speaker localization, facial expressions, and gestures with eyes and arms, Alpha can engage in multimodal conversations with multiple persons. At RoboCup 2004, Alpha took part in the Humanoid League Free Style competition of and won the third price with a dance performance.

Opened by Factory Records and subsidised by the success of New Order, the Hacienda (1982-1997) brought "house" music to Europe and made it a worldwide phenomena. The club and the character of Anthony H Wilson played a starring role in "24 Hour Party People", the 2002 Michael Winterbottom movie. Update: The dancing was impressive, but the staging could have been a lot better. I heard rumor that the evening shows had a lot more lighting effects. Too bad. It was really a lot of fun. They have a great sense of humor. We had to leave our weekend out in the wilds of Western Mass a bit early to get to the show, but it was worth it. Vigo loved it. Intertwining the disciplines of dance, extreme sports, and Hollywood stunt work, Elizabeth Streb has created a vocabulary that combines strict precision and daring in a display of “pure movement.” In her new show, "STREB vs. Gravity," Streb’s human movement maestros explore the boundaries of force, gravity, action, and reaction. Since opening for business in 1997, San Jose DanceSport Center has sought to provide a comfortable learning environment paired with skilled and caring dance instructors.

The studio first opened in a 1,000 square foot remodeled ballet studio in Campbell, California. Designing a studio that enabled people with various levels of dancing skill to come together and enjoy ballroom dancing was their primary goal. What began as a two-person dance studio, previously known as "The Floor", quickly grew offering more services to a greater number of people.

Cleve has morphed into his alter-ego DJ Sharaabi Kapoor, and, at Redline on January 17th, will be presenting the dopest, deepest sitar beat tracks from some of the wildest movies ever made. This Wednesday is the official launch party for DJ Deano Sounds "Mood Mosaic" party, to be held each and every Wednesday night at Redline.
