Although there have been countless occasions upon which I have thought, read, or even said out loud, "There is a church in Houston in a renovated basketball stadium," it very honestly did not even begin to sink in until I actually visited the place. Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas is indeed in the abandoned Summit Stadium at Greenway Plaza, former home of the Rockets.
