Preferred Rest Areas on I-5
I've lived in Portland for 10 years now -- originally from NW Washington. Over the past 10 years, I've done a lot of driving up and own I-5. This drive takes on average 4 hours and an "ideal" drive means, NO STOPS. No bathroom breaks, no snack breaks, just drive. However, if I must stop, I use one of my "preferred" rest areas.
