cafés in new york
Some of these cafes were recommended to me by David Peritz, a professor at Sarah Lawrence College. His recommendations have been spot on. As i'm living in New York again, i am now actively updating this map with new places that i discover. Since i like to read and write a lot — it's sort of necessity — my taste leans towards independent cafes with a homely atmosphere, good selection of drinks and pastries (preferably organic) and a staff that doesn't mind if i'm there for a few hours at a time.
