Capriccio's gelato is so creamy and smooth, it's hard to believe it contains 7 percent fat, less than the 10 percent that ice cream has. First-time business owner Lailah Pae rises at 5 a.m. every day to churn out the gelato and sorbettos from scratch, so you know it's all fresh and good. Pae used to work as an administrator at a construction company, but a backpacking trip in Europe where she tasted gelato for the first time convinced her that she was meant for sweeter things in life.
