Since the sixties, Young Circle Park & Amphitheater, located in the heart of Hollywood, served the community with performances from the Hollywood Philharmonic to headliners during the Hollywood Jazz Festival. The City has also hosted prestigious groups including the United States Air Force Band and the U.S. Army Field Band and Soldiers Chorus of Washington, D.C.. In addition, children’s cultural entertainment and Hollywood Playhouse performances once graced the stage.

The park provided a charming, natural backdrop for yearly events including Mardi Gras Fiesta Tropicale (February), the St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival (March), HispanicFest (April), Viva Italia (October) and dramatic holiday light displays (December). These major events mirrored Hollywood’s cultural diversity and its commitment to the arts.
