Straw Creek Ranch, April 21, 1906. "Going eastbound on I-84 take the Mt. Pleasant exit and follow Old Highway 30 several miles until it crosses under the freeway to the west side...Look for a tunnel going east under I-84 providing access to the privately owned Straw Creek Ranch. Go through the tunnel. This is a county road. The marker is in front of the farm house." Larsen p. 120
