Post thunderstorm recovery breakfast

47406 Highway 58, Oakridge, OR
Description:
Oakridge heading west, seems like a very redneck town, hunting republican men living in mossy collapsing trailers.
Then, just before leaving town, you see the Trailhead Coffeehouse and Cybercafe, on the south side of the road. A quiet young woman unlocked the door for us at 8. She had just turned on the Cowboy Junkies and proceeded to chat up Tabor and Emiko (who were being a bit rowdy) in the sweetest way. Turns out she also has a similarly aged set of youngsters, and an identical early 90s white volvo wagon with roof rack.
She proceeded to prepare for us a wonderful breakfast.
The kids played with lego and read 'the adventurers', I read Funkytowns USA and drank cups of the dark warm coffee they kept pouring from beer pitchers. Di-Ann browsed an Andy Goldsworthy book.
This place rocks. The internet part of the cafe seems hilariously out of date, and almost ironically so.
