I emerge from beneath Brooklyn and Lower Manhattan to stand kitty corner from my destination, NYU's Tisch School of the Arts Building. I keep moving even though I have a suitcase full of materials in my arms that needs to be set down before I can roll it along. If I stopped at the top of the steps set down this heavy load so I could roll it from there, I would create a 15 person pile up because of the crowd that got off the train with me following behind. These sorts of everyday details are what define my NYC life, physical health and outlook. I love NYC; I dread NYC.
