Prof. Gordon Wyeth and several of his students have started a project called GuRoo (for Grossly Underfunded Roo) at the University of Queensland, in Brisbane, Australia. GuRoo will have 23 degrees of freedom and will stand 1.2 m tall. Its projected weight is 30kg. Guroo participated in the recent Robocup 2002 in Japan. The team has 6 people.
