# June 2, 2008 - Day 2 Interim update. As of approximately 1300 EDT, John was on Rt. 6 just west of Dalton, PA. After an intrepid climb up the mountain crossing Rt. 296, which included a great view of a windmill farm, John decided to take a short cut on the Gov. Robert P. Casey Hwy, which just so happens to be a limited access highway. He found an exit after a few miles and thus managed to avoid getting run over or arrested. John has since returned to Rt. 6 to continue his journey after a brief stop for lunch.
