Oh the Matador, smoky, slightly run down Matador. This is a great Portland bar, it is laid back, and even when it is getting packed, you can always sit down with strangers and make new friends (unless you're weird - and you will soon find out if you are). They usually play good music from the DJ booth, otherwise it's jukebox, the drinks are cheap, but it does have one draw back, the staff can be really unpredictable I've encountered some of the nicest people, and a few really shitty ones that stand out.
