Description:
Dots is one of those Portland bars that people ask you if you've been there and then when you say "no" they tell you have to go.
Not really sure why, the standards for what makes a bar cool seem to be kind of low in this town.
Although, it is dark, the lighting is great and the atmosphere is amazing. On the downside the crowd is a little up-it's-own-ass for my taste.
Cheap drinks and great service make up for that.
It has weird smoking rules in the bar area, the three tables closest to the cafe are non smoking, but in the rest of the area it's fine.
Not that it will matter come 2009.
