Description:
My moon sits hard over a midnight blue horizon,
etched in a lover's eyes,
shattered pyramid on the neap tide's height,
sentenced to death by a shepherd sunrise.
Lonely, it whirls in an arc of sadness that is my sky,
torn from the wild geese throats
and tired waves that carve, pitiless, man's shores.
Never to own, lunar our lease shines,
envy breeds disciple in it's garden hovels,
siren song to the senseless hordes.
Pray, dream, wish me past this cure of sullen days,
so, as you bind me in lilac chords, mummified, enslaved,
man in the moon night sings, sings gangrene curdled in fallen flight.
