All warm welcome will great you in this very old, small local Inn in the city centre of Winchester. A good range of well kept real ales, and some of the best food I have eaten - I can highly recommend the Chicken and bacon pie - but we warned if you like you chicken pies all pastie and tastless than this is not the pie for you - full of juice gammon bacon and well seasoned chicken it was a nice old fashioned pie, delicious short crust pasty - made with lard or even maybe suet I think (and not to heavly salty) - well worth a visit to all those that like good old english food
