Saarinen's acchitecture is as lovely as it is famous. Here is one of his later, less known projects in Holmdel, NJ 07733, USA. This comlex was a corporate job for Bell labs and was designed to hold over 6,000 employees. It is the birthplace of many inventions and patents as well as home to nobel prize winners. Of more importance, take a look at the ominous water tower, which is the only real structure of the complex that you can see from the surrounding roads. Note, that it looks like a giant transistor!
