This is where I was when I heard about the Twin Towers. I was phoning a translation client who owed me money. When they told me that a plane had crashed into the World Trade Center, and that there was nothing else on the news, and they were all riveted to the TV set in the office (it's a film translation company) I initially thought they were just trying to get out of writing the check by making up a cockamamie story. Then I saw the television in the bar-tabac Le Narwhal.
