I was waken up by my roommate at around 1pm. They were in the living room watching the news, and he came in and said, "You'd better wake up soon, terrorists have just bombed the world trade center." I thought it was a joke. The first thing I saw of it was the footage of the 2nd tower collapsing. It was bizzare.

This was a strange place to live. I drank my first absinthe with the folks I lived with here, all older than me by 8 or 9 years, and the only reason we left was that Meagan didn't pay the rent and the landlords evicted us.
