April was an exotic dancer who lived in my building and whom I would occasionally see while we were out walking our dogs. She moved out after a few months and I helped her move one weekend, but she had to repaint her old apartment that week and I couldn't help because I was at work. The next time I called her to see if she wanted to go do something, she told me she was now with Jeff, the guy who lived across the hall from me and who had helped her paint that week while I was at my job.
