This annual springtime classic, which occurs in sunny Myrtle Beach, is anyone's game. The tournament consists of three speedy elimination rounds and a final head-to-head contest, a steeplechase of sorts.
Each year Myrtle Beach's top restaurants present the foods that are eaten in competition. In the past, Broadway at the Beach has presented eaters with dishes ranging from shrimp to frozen custard.
This year's foods are yet to be determined, but the date is set for Saturday, April 22 at Broadway at the Beach's Celebrity Square.
There is $500 on the line, and all registration is being handled by the IFOCE. You must be at least 18 to compete.
