Description:
This is part of a refuge borders the hanford nuclear facility. and from about this spot of a little farther up you can see Last standing structure of the old towns that were once one the other side of the river. You cannot get to the shell of the Old Hanford high school (the building farther back in the image) across the river because it is garded, but it is interesting to see it standing there. The reach is also beautiful for hiking, and you can only rarely see anything from the reactors. Just watch out for snakes and ticks. mostly ticks ick!
