OK, favorite neighborhood place near the ballpark in South Beach. Best low-end food theory restaurant, you can't beat this place for the price, and you certainly can't beat their Caribbean food. They feature a very cute "middle of the block" patio that inset from the street. You'll miss this place if you don't look twice, it looks like a tiny little store front.
You absolutely must try their Corn Cakes (amazing, never had anything like this), Jerk Chicken, and amazingly good fish dishes. I especially like their Ceviche and their fried Snapper Bits. White or red Sangria, and of course Red Stripe. If you're their for breakfast, try the Picadillo, another favorite.
