Fourth Dimension Fuels (FDF) is a Southern-Arizona woman-owned microbusiness founded in May 2003 with the goal of bringing biodiesel to the residents and travelers of the tri-community area of Oracle, San Manuel, and Mammoth. The county's first, FDF's biodiesel pump was opened in May of 2004, with an official grand opening celebration that took place in August 2004, with help from Colleen Crowninshield (Tucson Regional Clean Cities Coalition Coordinator) and special guest Charris Ford (founder of Grassolean Solutions of Telluride, Colorado).

Today, in addition to supplying biodiesel, Fourth Dimension Fuels has expanded to:

install Greasecar conversion kits, which allow owners of diesel vehicles to power their engines with waste vegetable oil;
educate students and community members about biofuels;
host the weekly, year-round Oracle Farmer' Market; and
provide access to a wide array of natural and organic foods and household products via the Tucson Cooperative Warehouse.

In 2005, Fourth Dimension Fuels plans to host classes in such subjects as Ayurvedic medicine; the benefits of honey and bee pollen; natural building materials; and other subjects taught primarily by community members. Check our calendar for upcoming events.
