When in Angelfire, the closest place for decent grub and culture is Taos. Eske's Pub is a great place to grab lunch and a beer (try the Fatty - huge, but delicious.) For dinner Taos Pizza Out Back is a safe bet and has lots of options.If you want to feel dizzy, visit the Rio Grande Gorgeand walk across the bridge!
I returned to Taos in 2001 with Aaron and stayed at a gem of a B&B - The Cottonwood Inn. The innkeepers are very friendly and the rooms are great. Breakfast is to die for.
