Description:
Took a day trip out to the Capulin Volcano which is a dormant volcano near Raton, NM. They have mule deer in the crater and you can see for miles on the top of the rim.

If you are going to be staying in Raton, and are looking for a funky place, check out the El Portal Hotel. Its got historic rooms and may be haunted. I've heard things before in the hall and looked to find nothing.
