I've been trying to find my old friend Rebecca Thompson who lived with her parents in Surrey last time I saw her. I was on my way from NY to Amsterdam (to live) and dropped off much luggage with her folks. There are two reasons, I want to find Rebecca.
1. She is terrific and I haven't seen her in 12-ish years.
2. In that luggage are almost every photo I have of me and my mom (I moved to Amsterdam shortly after she died.)
You know how it goes, you move to foreign country, think "Oh I'll be back shortly" then 14 years pass before you've been back to Surrey and the old phone #s don't work. We've all done it right? :-)
